If you’ve been spending time progressing through Baldur’s Gate 3’s Act 2, you may have bumped into a side quest which asks you to find Arabella’s parents. In order to trigger it, you’ll need to have saved the young Tiefling back at the Druid Grove during the game’s first act.
One way to obtain the quest is to find Arabella near the gate to the cemetery that waits on the east side of the House of Healing. You’ll likely need to progress a fair bit through the act before you can reach this location.
Baldur's Gate 3 Arabella's Parents Location
Talk to the girl and ask her about her parents. As with other quests, you have a choice between agreeing to help Arabella find her parents or going on your not-so-merry way. Having chosen the former, we suggested that she wait for us at camp.
To find the location of Arabella’s parents in Baldur’s Gate 3’s Act 2, you’ll need to head inside the House of Healing. Depending on your chosen point of entry, you may encounter a particularly interesting character with whom you’ll be forced to interact, potentially triggering a fairly challenging boss fight.
This happened for us entering from the north, but you may be able to steer clear of the encounter by using a different door. Once you’re in, look for the side room in the screenshots above. Sister Lidwin’s merchant marker might make it easier to find.
Inside, you’ll spot two beds with two Tieflings called Locke and Komira lying on different beds. This is actually the location of Arabella’s parents in Baldur’s Gate 3’s Act 2.
Inspecting the bodies reveals that they’re, unfortunately, dead and you can talk to Sister Lidwin about them, having the option of pointing out the truth or going with her less accurate version of events.
Now that you know how to find Arabella’s parents in Baldur’s Gate 3’s Act 2, all that’s left is to return and break the dreadful news to her.
If you sent her to your camp previously, you’ll find her near Withers. You will then need to talk to her after a long rest in order to progress the quest.
While its conclusion may be sad, completing it earns you the Shadow Blade Ring as a reward. When equipped, it allows its wearer to cast Shadow Blade, a level 2 Illusion spell that conjures a short sword that deals Psychic damage.
That is what you need to know about how to find Arabella’s parents in Baldur’s Gate 3’s Act 2. For more on the game, learn how to get the Mourning Frost staff and Threadbare Book.
