Baldur’s Gate 3 has been delayed once again, its Early Access release date being now pushed to October.
Thankfully, the extra wait won’t be all that long, as Baldur’s Gate 3 is now set to enter Steam Early Access on October 6, almost one week later than its previous September 30 date.
“Our guiding principle for early access is that it’s fine for there to be smaller bugs or a few things that are lacking polish, but it needs to offer a fun gameplay experience with as few crashes as possible.” developer Larian Studios wrote on Twitter.
Baldur's Gate 3 Early Access Release Date Delayed
“We’re nearly there but we had a few unexpected delays, and we still have some stability issues we’re sifting through. Because of the delays, our translations are also later than expected and we want to ensure localization for the announced Early Access languages is strong enough for our international fans to have a good time.”.
The developer expects the added week to be enough “to triple check stability and triple check localization”.
Previously, Larian Studios delved into multiplayer cinematics alongside Stadia and Twitch integration in a video update that’ll tide you over until BG3 arrives. An upcoming update will detail romance and companionship.
