As a multiplayer-focused first-person shooter, Battlefield 2042’s weapon list can potentially make or break the game. Too few weapons can make a core part of the experience feel lackluster and, while the new guns added might not seem numerous at first, players can wield more than 70 weapons across the different eras available the title’s Portal game mode.
Battlefield 2042’s weapon list features a handful of familiar guns for its Specialists and classes, as well as new ones that we’ve yet to put to good use against other players. Below, you’ll find them all neatly grouped by era, so you can get a better idea of how expansive the game’s launch arsenal is.
Battlefield 2042’s weapons stretch across the expected categories ranging from humble handguns to use as a backup plan, reliable assault rifles, powerful light machineguns capable of sustained fire, alongside submachine guns and shotguns that shine up close, but also the much-dreaded marksman and sniper rifles, effective at longer ranges.
While playing All-Out Warfare and Hazard Zone, you’ll only have access to BF2042’s new guns, the rest available in-game being usable only in its Portal mode. Here is the full Battlefield 2042 weapons list:

Battlefield 2042's weapons also come with a Crysis-style weapon customization that lets you change your weapon's attachments on the fly. More will likely be added as part of the game's live service.
