Publisher Bethesda today teased a brand new Indiana Jones game that is currently worked on by Wolfenstein developer MachineGames.
The teaser trailer didn’t feature any gameplay but did include the companies’ logos, alongside Indiana Jones’ iconic hat and whip.
“A new Indiana Jones game with an original story is in development from our studio, @MachineGames, and will be executive produced by Todd Howard, in collaboration with @LucasfilmGames,” the publisher said on Twitter.
“It’ll be some time before we have more to reveal, but we’re very excited to share today’s news!”
According to website StarWars.com, the story of the new Indiana Jones game would be standalone and “set at the height of the career of the famed adventurer.”
No further details were shared at the moment, but the announcement of a new Indiana Jones game from a big publisher is sure to please fans of the franchise.
