3D tower defense game Bloons TD 6 has seen a surge in popularity on Steam over the past couple of months. As more players flock to it, some might be interested to either compete or cooperate with their peers on other platforms, which is why you’ll see crossplay and cross-platform support often brought up in online discussions.
Bloons TD 6 is currently available on both PC and mobile. In between its 40+ maps, 20+ towers, and colorful, vibrant art style, there’s quite a bit to do, regardless if you’re looking for shorter or longer sessions. Read on below to find out everything you need to know about crossplay and cross-platform support in Ninja Kiwi’s tower defense title.
Bloons TD 6 does, indeed, feature crossplay. By default, it seems that competitive modes try to matchmaker you with players on your own platform first but, if that takes too long, you will end up facing others on mobile if on PC and vice versa.
Cross-platform support also extends to Bloons TD 6’s co-op mode thanks to its invite code functionality. Setting up a lobby and sharing your invite code with a player on a different platform should allow them to join your game just fine.
In addition, you can also take your progress with you to different platforms using your Ninja Kiwi account’s Linking Code option, which is always handy if you’re aching to play and can’t access your PC or your mobile device is woefully out of reach. You can find Bloons TD 6 on Steam.
