Borderlands 3 plays host to a wide variety of easter eggs, one of the more interesting of which features Tommy Wiseau himself, the legendary producer and leading star of The Room. If you’ve not watched the movie yet, we recommend you do, so that the Film Buff side quest makes a semblance of sense.
The resemblance between Tommy Wiseau and his Borderlands 3 stand-in is pretty uncanny. Whether it’s the unique accent, the mannerisms, verbiage, or even just general demeanor, Gearbox have nailed Wiseau down quite well. Here’s how to find the quest for yourself.
Where to find Tommy Wiseau in Borderlands 3?

Head on over to Pandora, to the Devil’s Razor region of the playable area. In the vicinity of the area shown on the map above you’ll hear a familiar-sounding voice, if you’ve acquainted yourself with Wiseau’s work. The voice will lead you to Buff, the Wisau-wannabe. The interaction with this NPC is quite colourful, and the quest he provides you with isn’t difficult in the slightest.
To complete the Film Buff side-mission, you’ll have to get through a variety of objectives:

When this sequence of events is finally played out, you can go back to Buff for your well-earned reward of currency and XP. Note that completing this quest post-campaign will scale its rewards to your level - something to keep in mind.
