As Season 4 draws to a close, the Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 release date is on the mind of every player curious to see what changes Verdansk and Modern Warfare will go through next.
After a series of teases, publisher Activision has confirmed that the Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 release date is slated for tomorrow, August 5, giving players little time to rest in between seasons.
As soon as the Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 start date occurs, both the free-to-play battle royale and the Modern Warfare will receive a set of new additions that change the former’s map and expand the map pool of the latter.
Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 Release Date
Call of Duty: Warzone’s Season 5 release date will mark the opening of Verdansk’s stadium, introducing a new spot where players can drop and battle each other as they try to be the last one alive.
Verdansk will also be traversed by a train that not just provides a moving platform for battles but, we assume, will also be quite great at squishing reckless and distracted players.
The new Shadow Company faction also steps into the fight as soon as Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5’s start date occurs, adding three new Operators to the mix.
As far as additions to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare go, players will be treated to four new maps:
- Suldal Harbor (6v6)
- Petrov Oil Rig (6v6)
- Verdansk Intl. Airport (Ground War)
- Livestock (Gunfight)
More details will likely be shared closer to Call of Duty: Warzone’s Season 5 release date. In the meantime, you can check out the new season’s trailer below.
