Keeping track of Chivalry 2’s server status is a vital part of making sure your planned play sessions don’t go to waste.
As an online-only PvP title, its servers going offline for maintenance or being unavailable due to certain login errors pretty much means that you won’t be able to take to the battlefield and slash your way through scores of opponents.
If you’re reading this article, chances are that you’ve bumped into the Request Timeout or Null Response Login Error while trying to join one of Chivalry 2’s servers. Read on below to learn more about its server status.
Chivalry 2’s servers are online at the moment, but you may experience some lobbies disconnecting or invites not working due to a server update on the 20th of June. It will last three hours.
Knights,
We have planned maintenance on Chiv 2’s backend in approx 30 minutes at 2 AM EST.
This will begin with ~30 mins of downtime, followed by ~3 hours of degraded service (e.g., invites not working, lobbies disconnecting, etc.)
After which services should return to normal.
At launch, plenty of players reported encountering the Request Timeout or null response login error when trying to join servers.
Developer Torn Banner Studios has resolved these issues, so joining matches should now be smooth, and the game has generally operated without problems for the past few years. However, this could change with the huge influx of players expected tomorrow as it goes free on the Epic Games Store.
