Publisher Paradox Interactive and developer Colossal Order today announced the release of no less than three pieces of Cities: Skylines 2 DLC, ensuring that there’s new content to dig through during the holidays. While the Urban Promenades and Modern Architecture Creator Packs expand the pool of available buildings, the Soft Rock Radio station gives us more tunes to listen to while designing our cities.
Going into further detail, the Urban Promenades Creator Pack – developed by content creator Feindbold – “introduces new mixed housing buildings, with commercial spaces on the ground floor and stunning rooftop terraces,” as the publisher notes in an emailed press release.

That makes for a total of 60 mixed housing assets alongside 5 new urban service buildings “that can fit in compact spaces within a bustling urban center.” In addition, they should also contribute noticeably to Cities: Skylines 2’s visual variety.
Richard Shi’s Modern Architecture Content Creator Pack then offers “new ways to cater to both residents and tourists with 21 new service buildings, from new bus stations up to universities and city plazas.”
In addition to making life easier and, perhaps, more exciting for anyone in our cities, these new structures also spice up their surroundings with a “sleek, cutting-edge, modern aesthetic.”
Lastly, the third DLC from this batch enhances Cities: Skylines 2’s soundscape with “mellow guitar strums and gentle vocal harmonies” that, nevertheless, keep things uplifting.
Owners of Cities: Skylines 2’s Waterfronts Expansion Pass and Ultimate Edition get access to its newest DLCs at no additional cost. Everyone else can purchase them individually or as part of the Modern City Bundle, which is priced at $17.99/€17.99/£14.99.
Although new content is slowly trickling in for the sequel on PC, developer Colossal Order confirmed last week that the console version’s development continues to face significant challenges while remaining a “top priority”.
