Publisher Paradox Interactive and developer Colossal Order today announced that Cities: Skylines’ upcoming Airports DLC will be accompanied by two new Content Creator Packs and two new radio stations.
Kicking things off, we have the Content Creator Map Pack DLC, that introduces 8 new terrain maps by YouTuber Sanctum Gamer, which let you design cities across a series of new landscapes.
The Content Creator Pack: Vehicles Of The World DLC then adds 21 new vehicles from around the globe – including a police supercar – designed by YouTuber bsquicklehausen. Both are priced at $4.99/€4.99/£3.99 or your regional equivalent.
The Calm The Mind Radio is all about relaxing when designing and managing your city, bringing “chill vibes into your architectural workflow,” while purchasing the On Air Radio adds an infusion of jazz to your playthroughs. Both radio stations cost $3.99/€3.99 or your regional equivalent.
As for Cities: Skylines - Airports itself, the DLC lets you “build your own airport areas, set up gates, and connect them via concourse networks.” You can start off by building a smaller airfield or go in straight for massive international hubs. Both it and the four DLC mentioned above are slated to launch on January 25.
The publisher will showcase more gameplay from the Airports DLC in a livestream on its Twitch channel tomorrow, January 11, at 2 PM GMT.
Cities: VR was also announced last month, and headed to the Meta Quest 2 sometime this spring.
