Are you looking for a detailed and updated list of patches released for Civilization 7? We will share a roadmap of updates containing version numbers, links to the Patch Notes, and the date they were released across all platforms. Expect to see this page updated regularly throughout 2025.
Civ 7 launched at 9 am PST on February 6 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S for anyone who pre-ordered the Deluxe or Founders Edition. Most players will be greeted with a Day One Patch consisting of a 10GB download and the V1.0.1 Update. Most players won’t get access to Civ 7 until February 11, when it fully launches across all editions on all platforms.

Civ 7 V1.0.1 Patch Notes
Today, we’re releasing a small patch to address some immediate Advanced Access game issues. This patch is a focused set of fixes that we were able to quickly and confidently ship.
- General game stability improvements, including regional game crashes
- Fixed a bug for players on Mac that were experiencing Mac system sounds whenever keypresses were made in game
