Frank Klepacki is a bit of a big deal for those of us who played the original Command and Conquer titles due to his unforgettable music score. Now that Command and Conquer Remasters are on the way, it's a bit of a given that Klepacki ought to be involved in production as well, and boy have we got good news!
A recent post on Reddit confirmed an awful lot of things about the upcoming C&C Remasters while pointing out a focus on integrating community feedback. Since it's none other than Petroglyph Games who will be producing the games, it's clear that Klepacki, their audio director, is on board as well!
Indeed, following a number of requests from fans of the series for Klepacki to be involved with whoever takes up the production of C&C Remasters, the newly-unveiled developers made it clear that the popular video game composer was more than happy to join in, as the video featured at the bottom of the article will attest.
Over the years, Frank Klepacki produced the audio for an awful lot of titles, including but not limited to virtually all of the Westwood titles (C&C, Dune, etc), and the more modern Petroglyph games, such as Universe at War, Grey Goo, the 8-Bit titles, and more, though it's worth noting that he also produced Hell March 3 for Red Alert 3, too.
In any case, the involvement of Frank Klepacki on the Command & Conquer Remasters project is just another reason for us to be optimistic about the entire endeavour, and all that's left to do for now is wait for more news about the upcoming releases to drop.
