Developed by the German studio Bippinbits, PVKK (Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant) is a simulation war game where you must defend your planet from an interplanetary invasion.
From the comfort of your cozy bunker, where you can even make tea, you’ll be armed with a planetary defense cannon to fend off the threats and strategize.
PVKK is in development for the PC but doesn’t have a release date yet. Hopefully, we will see it sometime this year, even if it’s only a demo.
A retro-tech cockpit will be your home where you can manage resources and face moral dilemmas shaped by FMV actors and characters. Calculate firing trajectories and execute precise firing procedures to take down enemy vessels.
Here’s an overview:
In PVKK, you step into the role of a cannon pilot for an autocratic regime, confined to a defense bunker. Your mission: manually control a massive planetary defense cannon to fend off an ongoing interplanetary invasion. Master the various systems to protect your home world.
Your bunker hides secrets waiting to be discovered. Engage in escape room-style puzzles to uncover hidden items and clues about what is truly happening outside. The regime keeps you in the dark, feeding you half-truths and political euphemisms. Look behind these deceptions to understand the real situation and navigate the demands of the different factions in your own best interest.
You can follow PVKK on Steam.
