Cyberpunk 2077 has reached – at the time of writing – 848K concurrent Twitch viewers, barely two hours after the streaming embargo for the RPG lifted.
Possibly the most anticipated game of the year, Cyberpunk 2077’s 848K concurrent Twitch viewers will likely grow in the lead-up to tomorrow’s release, as hungry players turn to streamers for an early taste of Night City.
Cyberpunk 2077 already has more eyes on it than Twitch phenomenon Among Us and Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout did at their peak, according to website TwitchTracker.
Cyberpunk 2077 Reaches 848K Concurrent Twitch Viewers
Early copies of Cyberpunk 2077 began making their way to people since last week, when developer CD Projekt RED warned that it would act swiftly and take down pre-release streams or videos in an effort to avoid fans having their experience spoiled early.
That restriction lifted today at 11 AM GMT/12 PM CET/3 AM PST and Cyberpunk 2077’s 848K concurrent Twitch viewers suggest that quite a few people are fine with having at least the initial bits of the game spoiled.
Cyberpunk 2077 is currently available for preloading and launches tomorrow, December 10, at these release times.
Following a report that some of the game’s elements can trigger epileptic seizures, developer CD Projekt Red is working on addressing the issue.
