Cyberpunk 2077 has received multiple fixes and improvements since its notoriously rough launch and patch 1.6’s release date is bound to bring even more, when it finally occurs.
Cyberpunk 2077’s patch 1.6 comes after the launch of its next-gen version, which not only made the game available on the latest consoles, but also introduced a new batch of content to discover while exploring Night City.
Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.6 Release Date
Cyberpunk 2077’s patch 1.6, called the Edgerunners update, has locked down its release date to September 6. Among its features count a new jacket and gun inspired by the Edgerunners anime (which launches in close proximity).
The wardrobe function is also making its way into the game, allowing you to freely customize the look of your characters, slot by slot.
Ripperdocs can now do face and body resculpting, but you can also do it at a mirror. You’ll also be happy to find more options have been added, further increasing the amount of character customization.

It is worth noting that this update will be the last major content patch for last-gen consoles. The developer will only provide tech support and small fixes for those versions of the game going forward
The RPG’s development continues, its long-awaited first expansion, Phantom Liberty, also being revealed on September 6 and slated for a 2023 release.
