Publisher and developer CD Projekt Red today announced that Cyberpunk 2077’s release date has been delayed once more, this time until November.
Players will now have to wait until November 19, before they can get their hands on Cyberpunk 2077. The game was set to launch on September 17, itself marking a delay from the previous release date of April 16.
The developer aims to use the extra time to further polish the upcoming open-world RPG.
Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date Delayed
“At the time we are writing these words, Cyberpunk 2077 is finished both content and gameplay-wise. The quests, the cutscenes, the skills and items; all the adventures Night City has to offer - it’s all there. But with such an abundance of content and complex systems interweaving with each other, we need to properly go through everything, balance game mechanics and fix a lot of bugs. A huge world means a huge number of things to iron out and we will spend the additional time doing exactly that.”, the announcement reads.
The developer also revealed that its Night City Wire event remains on track for June 25, previews from media outlets following shortly after.
