Despite its rocky launch, Cyberpunk 2077 continues to be played regularly by thousands of players as it draws close to its one-year anniversary. But gamers who still remain skeptical, even after the RPG received several post-launch patches, might be wondering if there’s a chance for CD Projekt Red’s game to arrive on Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart at some point in the future.
Since it went live, Xbox Game Pass has amassed a rather impressive list of games, both big and small, that subscribers have access to for a monthly fee that’s considerably lower than purchasing these titles outright. Cyberpunk 2077 being part of the list could incentivize gamers who haven’t paid Night City a visit yet to do so.
Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Game Pass
Hopes about Cyberpunk 2077’s arrival on Xbox Game Pass were up when a very brief sequence from the game was featured in a promotional video for Xbox Cloud Gaming, a service that can be accessed via Game Pass.
Unfortunately, the RPG doesn’t seem to be coming to Microsoft’s subscription service soon. A CD Projekt Red spokesperson told website Video Games Chronicle, in November 2021, that “there are no Game Pass plans for Cyberpunk 2077.”
While plans can change over time, we’ll certainly have to wait longer before Cyberpunk 2077 makes its way to Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart. We’ll keep an eye out and update this article with any new details as soon as we spot them.
