At the top of Behaviour Interactive’s 7th Anniversary event for Dead By Daylight was the reveal of the game’s next chapter, and with that a new original survivor and killer. This time it’s boldly going for a science-fiction flavor.
End Transmission sees the action leave more Earthly realms for somewhere among the stars, and it brings a cyborg killer to match. The Singularity is a rogue AI that has created a body of flesh and machine parts so it can go on a killing spree and become the perfect lifeform. It manages to slaughter an entire crew except for one plucky technician. That technician is our new survivor Gabriel Soma.
The chapter also comes with a new map called Toba Landing, and is set on a mysterious planet. The biggest mystery probably being how the pallets got there.
The whole thing is going to be here rather soon as End Transmission is penciled in for a June 13 release on all available platforms. It’s quite refreshing to see an original chapter spread its wings beyond the usual haunts and venture out into the wider universe. Hopefully, this is a sign of what to expect from Behaviour’s horror hit in the future.
