Devil May Cry V’s Secret Missions aren’t just there for completionists and those who fancy aligning strange symbols, but also for players who want to test their skills under pressure and earn rewards after succesfully completing their challenge.
Early on, Nero’s journey takes him through some sewers. Here’s Secret Mission 02’s location, objective and reward.

After navigating rooftops using the grapple that comes with his Devil Breaker, Nero will find himself entering a sewer. He’ll notice a door being blocked off by two roots. You’ll need to clear the roots in order to advance Devil May Cry 5’s story, so have at it.
Once the door is clear, go through it. Instead of going up, however, jump down and look upwards. You should see Secret Mission 02’s symbol. Simply move around, on the lowest level, until the symbol is aligned and glows red and you’ll have access to the mission.
Secret Mission 02 tasks you with eliminating a pack of Red Empusas without letting any of them escape. These are the non-combative ants that carry a good amount of red orbs, but which burrow and run away if left alone for too long. You’ll simply have to move between them as swiftly as you can and dispatch them quickly. The grapple hook is, arguably, indispensable here.
