Having unveiled its start and end dates, Diablo 2: Resurrected’s 22 Nights of Terror holiday event aims to make adventuring throughout Sanctuary a bit more exciting as the year draws to a close.
The hack and slash RPG’s second season is in full swing but, if you needed an extra incentive to hop back in or try out a different class, the 22 Nights of Terror holiday event brings “powerful loot, a dash of terror, and a new surprise to experience each day” in D2:R.
Diablo 2: Resurrected 22 Nights of Terror Holiday Event
Diablo II: Resurrected’s 22 Nights of Terror holiday event has locked down its start date to December 13, 2022. Its end date is set to occur on January 4, 2023 at 11 AM PT/2 PM ET/7 PM GMT, giving players a bit over three weeks to experience what it has to offer.

The event introduces a new gameplay modifier every 24 hours that should make slaughering monsters a little more interesting. Blizzard hasn’t detailed what these modifiers exactly entail, but the in-game Message of the Day reveals when a new one is active.
D2R’s 22 Nights of Terror holiday event is available in all of the hack and slash RPG’s online modes, with the exception of Classic Diablo II.
