Diablo 4’s Aspect of the Umbral is actually one of the easier ones you can obtain. Many can be unlocked by simply completing a specific dungeon for the first time, and it very much happens to count among them.

To get Diablo 4’s Aspect of the Umbral, you need to complete the Champion’s Demise dungeon. You can find it in the Dry Steppes region.
Simply head towards the southeastern portion of the Untamed Scarps area, as indicated in the screenshot above.
Entering it, completing its objectives, and defeating the final boss, automatically adds get the Aspect to your Codex of Power collection.
From there, you can imprint it into any rings that you find and suit your build. Diablo 4’s Aspect of the Umbral is a resource aspect.
Its effect restores 1 of your primary resource whenever you crowd control an enemy, making it easier to cast other abilities.
Its usefulness will ultimately be determined by your build, but you’ll also want to track it down if you’re approaching the game with a completionist mentality.
