Diablo 4’s global release times are a hot topic among those of us who didn’t have enough during the beta and are eager to play the hack and slash RPG as soon as possible. With both an early access and regular launch to look forward to, keeping track of them and the game’s preload time is a good idea, especially if you’re planning on taking some time off to quickly secure yourself an initial supply of legendary items.
On top of all the other goodies they include, pre-ordering the Diablo 4’s Deluxe and Ultimate Editions also includes a four-day head start over their players who opt for the standard edition, as part of the game’s early access launch.
Diablo 4 Global Release and Preload Times
Diablo IV’s global release times were revealed in a tweet from Blizzard Entertainment President Mike Ybarra, who clarified when the early access and regular launches are set to occur across the globe.
Here is how things look at the moment:
Diablo IV Early Access Global Release Times
- June 1 at 4 PM PT (US)
- June 2 at 12 AM BST (EU)
- June 2 at 8 AM KST (Asia)
Diablo IV Regular Global Release Times
- June 5 at 4 PM PT (US)
- June 6 at 12 AM BST (EU)
- June 6 at 8 AM KST (Asia)
Early access launches like these have become frequent over the past couple of years, particularly with bigger releases.
Diablo 4 preloading becomes available starting with May 30 at 4 PM PDT/7 PM PDT (US) and June 1 at 12 AM BST (EU).
Four days give owners of the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions quite a bit of extra time to secure additional loot for their characters.
At the same time, we should always take into account the possibility of lengthy waiting queues to join servers.
Diablo IV is an always online game and its open beta already gave us a taste of having to wait before we get to slaughter demons. It remains to be seen how well the servers hold up at launch.
That is what you need to know about Diablo IV’s global release and preload times. Regardless if you’re joining the fight against Lilith in early access or later, you’ll want to know what the game’s system requirements are, to make sure you don’t need a last-minute upgrade.
