Diablo 4 offers multiple paths to increase your character power and, towards the endgame, Aspects of Power begin to play an increasingly important role in your build. If you’re aiming to give your Druid a bit more area of effect damage, you’ll want to know how to get the Shockwave Aspect and what its effect does.
Diablo 4’s Shockwave Aspect counts among the more difficult ones to get your hands on. While many can be unlocked by completing a specific dungeon for the first time, others and their effects can only be obtained by going through the game’s randomized loot system.
Diablo 4 Shockwave Aspect
From what we can tell so far, Diablo 4’s Shockwave Aspect isn’t part of any dungeon completion rewards, at least at launch. This means that getting it requires a legendary item that has it as its dedicated power to drop during your adventures.
Not every item that drops with a desired power also has the right stats, though. In that case, you can take said item to the Occultist vendor in any of the game’s major towns and extract its Aspect of Power.
The process destroys whatever piece of gear that might be, but generates a special item that goes into the Aspects tab of your character’s inventory. You can then use it to imprint its effect into a different piece of gear at the same NPC.
Diablo 4’s Shockwave Aspect effect fits the offensive needs of certain Druid builds. It enables the Pulverize skill to create a shockwave that travels forward, damaging enemies in its way.
If you’re using Pulverize often, you may want to keep an eye for it while participating in any activities that drop loot or spending hard-earned Obols in town.
That is what we know about how to get Diablo 4’s Shockwave Aspect and how its effect helps you slay more enemies with your blows.
