Diablo Immortal’s closed beta test is now live, giving lucky players in select regions across the world the chance to try out the mobile action RPG ahead of its launch. Its start and end dates are likely of interest, if you’ve been following the title since it was announced its 2018, and we cover everything you need to know about them in this article.
Diablo Immortal’s closed beta locked down its start date to October 28, its servers going live in Canada and Australia at 5 PM PT/8 PM ET/1 PM BST. The test is only available on Android devices and allows a limited number of players to take part. If you count among those invited, you’ll receive a notification from Google Play.
Servers will also open in Korea, Japan, and China over the coming weeks. The test build will be available in those regions’ local languages when it becomes available.
Diablo Immortal’s closed beta end date will be announced at a later point in time, but Blizzard has assured fans that the test “will be running for several weeks,” giving them time to try out the available end-game features.
- Diablo Immortal closed beta start date: October 28
- Diablo Immortal closed beta end date: TBA (test lasts several weeks)
Invited players will get to play as the Necromancer class, but also try an enhanced version of the ARPG’s faction-based PvP & PvE system, The Cycle of Strife, which now includes a 30x1 battle called Challenge of the Immortal.
The 8v8 Battleground PvP system is getting ladders, while set items will spice up Diablo Immortal’s end-game. Participants can also test their mettle against the Helliquary raid bosses in teams of up to 8 players.
The closed beta also includes a preview of the title’s controller support. In addition, optional in-game purchases will also be enabled. Blizzard does, however, note that all progress will be wiped once the closed beta is over and purchases will be converted to equivalent in-game credits, which will be available when Diablo Immortal launches.
That’s what we currently know about Diablo Immortal’s closed beta alongside its start and end dates. We’ll update this article as soon as new details are shared.
