Diablo Immortal’s PC version announcement came as a surprise, especially following its divisive reveal as a mobile-first game. With the launch drawing near and assurance that we won’t need a phone to play it, some might be wondering if the game might also make its way to Steam and if anything has been shared about a release date.
A potential Diablo Immortal Steam release date would mark another major shift for the troubled project, however, things don’t currently suggest that it’s heading in that direction.
To put it simply, there hasn’t been any mention of a Diablo Immortal Steam release date so far and it’s looking quite unlikely that we’ll learn about one in the near future.
- Diablo Immortal Steam release date: Unknown
Although it’s developed in partnership with NetEase, Diablo Immortal remains a Blizzard game. Historically, the company’s modern releases have not launched on Steam, being available instead through its own Battle.net launcher.
That’s where Diablo Immortal will launch and the lack of any mention of a Steam release date suggests that it might not be the game to tear down that barrier.
Should anything change on this front, we’ll update this article. In the meantime, here’s what we know about Diablo Immortal’s server list and cross-platform support at launch.
