Publisher and developer Square Enix today announced that the Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition demo is now available on PC, via the Windows Store and Steam, PS4, and Xbox One.
Players picking up the Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition demo can play through 10 entire hours from the game’s opening moments.
This will showcase part of the features that are being added when the game’s Definitive Edition launches, including the ability to speed up battles.

The demo will also give you a taste of the game’s Japanese and English audio, its symphonic soundtrack and photo mode. In the full version, players will get to experience new character stories, try out an improved crafting system, and even go through the entire game in 2D.
Any progress made in the demo will carry over to the full version, should you decide to purchase it. Completing its main scenario also grants three Seed of Skill items. You can use them to grant your characters three extra skill points either in the demo or in the full version.
Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition is now available on Nintendo Switch and is set to launch on PC, Xbox One and PS4 on December 4. Find its demo here.
