Publisher and developer Funcom has announced that Dune: Awakening’s early closed beta tests are set to start “soon.”
These testing opportunities come as a result of the survival title’s development reaching a stage at it “can benefit a lot from player feedback.”

“We will soon reach out with a sign-up form to all those who signed up for the Beta on the official website,” the developer wrote in a Steam post. “We will email the account you signed up with, so keep an eye on your inbox (and spam).
“This is an early closed Beta test and those invited will be under NDA not to share information about the test publicly.”
Anyone interested for a chance at testing an early in-development build of Dune: Awakening can sign up through the dedicated tab on the game’s website.
Initial tests will be conducted with a “small pools of players” that will gradually increase as more opportunities arise in the future.
Dune: Awakening’s early closed beta test wasn’t given an exact start date just yet, much like the extent of its playable content wasn’t detailed.
