Dune: Spice Wars has now entered early access, putting an end to the lengthy hiatus of strategy games inspired by Frank Herbert’s universe. Its blend of real-time and 4X strategy elements sound quite promising and, since the game comes out at a time when subscription services continue to gain traction, you might be wondering if it might make its way to Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart at some point in 2022.
Dune: Spice Wars also launches prior to the dust settling on Denis Villeneuve’s acclaimed movie, potentially drawing the attention of players unfamiliar with strategy games. Its presence on PC Game Pass would allow newcomers to try it out without committing to outright purchasing the game.
Dune: Spice Wars Xbox Game Pass
Unfortunately, Dune: Spice Wars did not make its way to Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart at launch. This means that, for the time being, a traditional purchase is the only way to see what the title has to offer.
In early November 2022, it was confirmed that the title will make its way to the subscription service “soon.” Later during the month, its arrival date was locked down to November 17.

Dune: Spice Wars’ early access version did not benefit from a console launch, so it’s easy to understand why you won’t find it on Xbox Game Pass.
