The Dungeons series is making its evil return with a fourth entry, Realmforge Studios are back again to develop, and it should be released for the PC at some point in 2023. Console versions are planned too, with PS5, Xbox Series X and Switch versions in development.
Taking place after the events of the predecessor, the Absolute Evil and the Council of Snots will once again return to the land of Unicorns, Elves, and Humans to crush the harmony in their Overworld and bring deliciously evil scheming to the realm.
Dungeons 4 Release Date set for 2023
Dark Elf Thalya will return to aid you with your plans, as you build another cozy and comfortable Dungeon Heart and adjacent rooms to keep your minions happy as you unleash them into the Overworld.
There will be new rooms to build, traps to place around your dungeon to keep the heart protected, and new minions for you to train and bolster your offensive strikes on the Human and Elvish warriors.
Dwarves will come to the aid of the Humans and Elves for the first time in Dungeons 4, clanging hammers and axes as they raid your Dungeon’s gold vaults and seek to destroy the Dungeon Heart.
Kalypso Media says Dungeons 4 “keeps the spirit of its predecessor, but everything is now bigger, better, and with even more dynamic Evilness”. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass when it launches.
There’s no release date yet, but more details will likely be shared as GamesCom progresses, so keep checking back for more updates on the development of Dungeons 4.
