Dying Light 2 has plenty of items for you to collect while making your way across Villedor, but if you’re looking for some special in-game goodies, you’ll want to keep an eye out for its Twitch Drops.
Dying Light 2’s Twitch Drops are one easy way to make sure Aiden can take the fight to the infected while wearing awesome looking gear that you cannot obtain elsewhere. Better yet, getting these items doesn’t involve an overly complicated process, although you will still need to go through a couple of steps first.
Dying Light 2 Twitch Drops Reward
You earn Dying Light 2 Twitch Drops by simply tuning in to eligible streamers who happen to be playing the game while a campaign is live. Before you do that, however, you’ll need to make sure that you’re logged in to your Twitch account, set up a separate TechlandGG account and link the two.
You’ll also need to link your TechlandGG account to your Steam account, or that of another platform you’re using to play the game. If you own the game across multiple platforms, make sure you’re linking the account on which you want to redeem the items.
After you’ve linked your accounts, all you need to do is make sure that you’re watching Twitch streams that have the Drops Enabled tag. After a while, you’ll see a notification in the top right corner informing you that you’ve earned yourself a drop.
You’ll then need to claim your drop on Twitch, after which it should appear in your in-game stash after you complete the prologue. It’s possible that the items might take a bit before becoming available.
These are the Dying Light 2 Twitch Drops you can currently obtain:
- The Extinguisher, axe (watch for 60 minutes)
- Timeout, machete (watch for 120 minutes)
- Protective Mask (watch for 180 minutes)
