Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer FromSoftware today announced the start and end dates of Elden Ring’s closed network test, which gives lucky players an early look at what could be the developer’s most highly anticipated game.
Broadly speaking, Elden Ring’s closed network test has locked down its start date to November 12, lasting until November 14, when its end date occurs. There is, however, a catch, as players won’t get to play the title as much as they want for its duration, the testing itself taking place across a couple of limited time windows.
Elden Ring Closed Network Test - Start and End Dates
Here is the full schedule of Elden Ring’s closed network test, as shared by the publisher:
- November 12: 3 AM PST/11 AM BST - 6 AM PST/2 PM BST
- November 12: 7 PM PST/3 AM BST(next day) - 10 PM PST/4 AM BST (next day)
- November 13: 11 AM PST/7 PM BST - 2 PM PST/10 PM BST

- November 14: 7 PM PST/3 AM BST(next day) - 10 PM PST/4 AM BST (next day)
Aside from giving fans their first hands-on look at the game, Elden Ring’s closed network test will also help the developer test the game’s servers ahead of its launch, which is now slated for February 25, 2022, following today’s delay.
Unfortunately, the Elden Ring closed network test doesn’t extend to PC, but features crossplay across console generations. This means that PS4 and PS5 users can play together, as can Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One users.
