Tempest Rising harkens back to the days when the Command and Conquer series ruled the real-time strategy genre, pitting two distinct factions and their destructive arsenals against each other in a struggle for a valuable, potentially alien resource. Whether you’re accustomed to this particular flavor of nostalgia or want to discover why this particular RTS formula remains so beloved, you likely want to know when the title gets GeForce Now support.
As much as Tempest Rising does accommodate older hardware well enough, Nvidia GeForce Now support would remove any need to worry about your PC struggling to run the game, provided you’re subscribed to the cloud gaming service, own it on a supported platform, and have a fast internet connection.

Thankfully, Tempest Rising Nvidia GeForce Now support becomes available as soon as the real-time strategy game’s advanced access phase begins on April 17, 2025.

Official confirmation was shared in a blog post on Nvidia’s website, which lists Slipgate Ironworks’ real-time strategy game among those joining the cloud gaming service during the week of April 17, including fantasy action-RPG Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree.
If you’re gaming on an older PC, this is excellent news, since you’ll be able to wage all-out war in both the single-player campaign and multiplayer.
Anyone who pre-orders the game – regardless of edition – can take advantage of advanced access, jumping in up to 7 days before the title’s official April 24 launch. If you do plan on waiting until then, you can just as well play it using Nvidia’s cloud gaming service.
