Flintstone, a common resource in Enshrouded, is scattered across the realm of Embervale. It’s not always easy to spot, although it can be used to construct several different items.
While it’s dispersed throughout most areas, there are a few specific mines where you can gather it in large quantities. Once collected, you can easily teleport back to your base to utilize this resource for constructing new building materials.
Where to find Flintstone in Enshrouded
The best place that we’ve found to mine Flintstone is across the Braelyn Bridge to the north of the standard base location. If you keep heading far beyond the bridge, you will see a scavenger outpost between the ravine, so if you go to the right of this you should find the small flint mine. You can spot Flint Ore Veins by their distinct teal and orange colour.
During our 25-hour playthrough of Enshrouded, we found that Flintstone didn’t seem to be used for crafting tools or weapons. Instead, its primary use seems to be in building materials. Notable examples include the Flintstone Block and the Stone Shingle Roof Block, both essential for constructing houses for the NPC’s.
If you manage to collect a substantial amount of Flintstone from the mines, you’ll have more than enough to construct several houses, or even a small village, if you possess the right building skills. This is particularly feasible if you’re aiming for a design that combines a shimmering and rustic aesthetic.
Like all survival games, we’ll continue to explore and experiment. Should we uncover any additional uses for Flintstone, we’ll promptly update this guide with our findings. Meanwhile, if you come across anything intriguing during your adventures, we’d love to hear about it.
