Enshrouded’s blend of traditional survival game and dynamic traversal mechanics has drawn plenty of attention ahead of its early access launch, but if you’re not yet sold on taking the role of Flameborn, you’re likely wondering if the title is also coming to Xbox Game Pass.
Many developers take the early access route with their survival games, but not everyone is keen on jumping in early. It’s understandable, too, as this approach has given us both hits and duds over the years. Should Enshrouded make its way to Game Pass, anyone on the fence about exploring its voxel-based continent would have a less costly alternative to do so.
Enshrouded Xbox Game Pass
As of mid-January 2024, there are no signs that suggest we’ll see Enshrouded arriving on PC Game Pass when it launches in early access. It was listed in February’s choice of games.
Microsoft’s popular subscription service wasn’t brought up so far in official communications from developer Keen Games, so there’s a good chance that anyone planning to play as soon as possible will have to purchase the game the old-fashioned way.
- Enshrouded PC Game Pass status: Not available when launching into early access
When it comes to Enshrouded’s Xbox Game Pass support, things are fairly clear-cut at the moment. The title’s console versions, albeit in development, do not currently have a release date. This, of course, means that it will also not be available on the subscription service’s console version as of now.
New titles join Game Pass regularly, which means that we cannot exclude the possibility of Enshrouded becoming part of its library further down the line.
If or when that happens is hard to tell at this point, but we’ll update this article as soon as we learn more.
