Fall Guys’ delightfully goofy blend of battle royale and party game continues to attract a healthy playerbase one year after release. It’s also set to arrive on both current and last-gen Xbox consoles later in 2021, which begs the question of whether or not it might also be coming to Xbox Game Pass.
Fall Guys’ casual approach to platforming comes with its fair share of competition, making it a great fit for a subscription service like Xbox Game Pass. More players having easier access to the game means more competitors to outmatch and that’s never bad to have in a multiplayer game.
Fall Guy’s PC version isn’t currently present on Xbox Games Pass for PC and there are no signs pointing towards it arriving on the subscription service at the moment.
Earlier this year, when its Xbox version was announced, publisher Devolver Digital shut down rumors that the game would be coming to the popular subscription service. “There are no plans for Fall Guys to come to any form of Gamepass,” it said in a tweet from back in January.
Since then, the Xbox version’s release date was moved from Summer to “later in 2021” and nothing else was shared about a potential Xbox Game Pass version.
While we don’t have much in the way of good news on this matter at the moment, Fall Guys on Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart could still become a reality towards the end of 2021 or at some point next year. If that’s the case, we’d expect to hear more once the game locks down its Xbox release date.
We’ll update this article as soon as we learn more.
