As Fallout 76 shows, a post-apocalyptic scenario doesn’t necessarily come with a lack of weapons. While ammo for some is easy to come by, others require ammo like the plasma core which is harder to find.
Here’s what we know about how to get yourself one plasma core or more in Fallout 76.
Fallout 76 Plasma Core
The plasma core is a type of ammo used by the Gatling plasma, one of Fallout 76’s rarer weapons and the heaviest plasma weapon in the game.
The main way of obtaining plasma cores in Fallout 76 is by crafting them yourself. To do so, you need 7 Copper, 10 Lead, 3 Nuclear Material and 5 Plastic. Combine them at a Tinkerer’s Workshop and you’ve made yourself a plasma core.
Crafting, however, isn’t the only way you can obtain plasma cores. While it does happen rarely, you can also get lucky and find some while looting ammo boxes.
