Fallout 76 received a new seasonal event today, giving players an extra reason to drop by Point Pleasant and check out the area’s newest inhabitants. The Mothman Equionx runs for a limited time, making knowledge of its start and end dates vital for avid reward collectors.
While Fallout 76’s The Mothman Equinox 2024 event is live, players can help out some of Appalachia’s friendlier cultists in their attempt to summon the Wise Mothman, earning rewards for doing so. Read on below to learn more about its start and end dates.
Fallout 76 The Mothman Equinox Event 2024 Details
Fallout 76’s The Mothman Equinox 2024 event kicked off today. It is currently scheduled to stick around until April 16th, giving players just under two weeks to try their hand at grabbing all of its rewards.

The cultists require your help at the top of every hour, so you’ll want to properly time your arrival in Point Pleasant, which is found in Appalachia’s the Forest region.
Calling themselves The Enlightened, you’ll first need to talk to Interpreter Clarence – who waits on the roof of the Mothman Museum – before beginning to aid them with the summoning.
Once you’ve done so, you’ll have to complete a series of tasks that includes removing and finding items but also slaying rival cultists who want to keep the Mothman for themselves.
If you complete all the tasks before the event’s timer expires, you’ll have to return to Clarence and initiate the final step of the summoning.
Complete that and you’ll earn rewards based on your performance, which include a chance at new themed plans. Communing with the Wise Mothman also grants you a neat experience buff while exploring Point Pleasant can teach you more about The Enlightened.
While Fallout 76’s The Mothman Equinox 2024 event is live, you’ll also find Cultist High Priests roaming throughout Appalachia. Tracking and killing them grants additional chances to earn Mothman Cult-themed rewards like the Fuzzy Mothman Plushie and Fuzzy Enlightened Plushie.
