Final Fantasy 14’s Hatching-tide 2023 event has locked down its start date to March 27 at 1 AM PT/4 AM ET/8 AM GMT. Its end date is then slated to occur on April 10 at 7.59 AM PT/10.59 AM ET/2.59 PM GMT, which means that we have precisely two weeks to claim its new rewards.

To participate in FFXIV’s Hatching-tide event, you’ll first need to ensure that you have a level 15 character. Then, head to Old Grindania and look for an NPC Jihli Aliapoh.
You’ll find her on the Upper Decks at coordinates X:10.2, Y:9.4. Interact with her to pick up the quest called “Get Along and Play Knife,” which you’ll need to complete if you plan on obtaining this year’s fresh rewards.
They include five armor pieces – the Tonberry Head,Tonberry Body, Tonberry Hands, Tonberry Culottes, and Tonberry Boots –, the Frighten emote, alongside the Hippity-hoppity Hatching-tide Advertisement furnishing item and Pa-Paya Demastered Orchestrion Roll.
Like with other events, items from previous years will be available at certain vendors, allowing you to grow your collection even further. The event’s special website gives you a better look at how the new armor set impacts your character’s aesthetic.
