FFXIV’s The Rising 2023 event is primed to make its comeback this year, celebrating A Realm Reborn’s 10th anniversary with new rewards. Its start and end dates should give us a fair bit of time to chase down the new goodies, as we patiently wait for patch 6.5.
FFXIV’s The Rising 2023 event arrives as the Endwalker expansion’s support is slowly coming to an end. In addition, it is set to go live as the 10th Anniversary Hunt is also active.
Final Fantasy 14 The Rising 2023 Event
Final Fantasy 14’s The Rising 2023 event has locked down its start date to August 27 at 12 AM PT/3 AM ET/7 PM GMT. Its end date is then slated to occur when patch 6.5 launches in early October.

To participate in FFXIV’s The Rising event, you’ll need to have a level 15 character. Then, look for an NPC named Kipih Jakkya. You’ll find her in Ul’dah.
Head to the Steps of Nald, at coordinates X:10.1, Y:8.7. Talk to her and pick up the quest “Siblings Rising,” which you’ll need to successfully complete if you plan on obtaining this year’s rewards.
Doing so rewards you with the Rising Phoenix Whistle and mount alongside the wall-mounted Rising Advertisement item and two orchestrion rolls.
On top of that, items from previous years will be available at certain vendors, which is especially great if you’ve only now starting your journey through Eorzea. You can learn more about the event by visiting its special site.
