Publisher and developer Square Enix has announced plans to preview Final Fantasy 14’s Patch 5.5 in the next Letter from the Producer live stream scheduled for early next month.
Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida will preview a first set of features coming in Final Fantasy 14’s Patch 5.5 before being joined by Lead Project Manager Shoichi Matsuzawa for further discussion about the popular MMORPG.
The live stream will also touch upon “miscellaneous updates”. A second Patch 5.5 preview will likely follow at a later date.
FFXIV’s Letter from the Producer live stream is set to take place on February 6 at 10:00 PM PST/6:00 AM GMT. Prior to it, Square Enix has also announced an Announcement Showcase, starting four and a half hours earlier.
You can already set a reminder for the latter on YouTube. Both events are currently shrouded in mystery, but they’re very likely to shed some light on what 2021 has in store for the MMORPG.
If you’re currently playing or plan on giving the game a shot this year, tuning in might be a good idea.
