Final Fantasy VII Remake launches in a few months, seeing the return of beloved characters like Cloud Strife, Tifa Lockheart, Sephiroth and Red XIII.
While most of the English language voice cast has been revealed in the time leading up to release, fans are still wondering who might the voice actor behind Red XIII be. Here’s what we know.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Red XIII Voice Actor
Previous rumors painted Critical Role’s Matthew Mercer as a potential voice actor for Red XIII in Final Fantasy VII Remake.
This was a result of him posting on Twitter, around Halloween, a photo of a carved pumpkin that featured a silhouette resembling the red lion’s. Mercer, however, confirmed that he isn’t Red XIII’s voice actor.
Publisher Square Enix has now revealed that Red XIII is voiced by none other than Max Mittleman who also voiced Persona 5’s Ryuji Sakamoto.
Red XII made his first appearance in Final Fantasy VII Remake’s Theme Song trailer, which you can watch below.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is due out on April 10 and headed to the PS4. With a bit of luck, we might also see a PC port in the future.
