If you’ve given the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 trailer a look, you’ve probably started looking for car locations as soon as you started your first game.
New vehicles usually attract lots of attention but, sadly, there doesn’t seem to be any way to access Fortnite car locations just yet.
A good portion of the map in Chapter 2 Season 3 is submerged and all the cars in the trailers seemed to have a preference for land, which makes their absence understandable.
Fortnite Car Locations
If past seasons are any proof, Fortnite’s cars should become available in a couple of weeks’ time, likely when the map’s water level will drop.
The battle royale’s website confirms this by reading “as time goes on and water recedes, even more locations will be uncovered. And as the roadways become more open, you’ll discover new ways to get around”.
Fortnite is set to receive a couple of different types of cars, both larger and smaller, which will likely be spread across multiple locations on the map.
Two recent tweets suggest that Fortnite cars will arrive tomorrow, August 5, as part of the game’s Joyride update.
It’s not just a name. It’s a warning.

Although Fortnite cars might not be available just yet, players can get around the watery areas of the map using sharks and whirlpools.
