Halo Infinite’s multiplayer mode marked a first for the series when it launched as a free-to-play offering and, as we head into the second half of 2022, Season 2’s start and end dates are on the minds of players.
Halo Infinite’s Season 2 start date brings with it a battle pass refresh alongside a number of other changes in how the game’s live service functions. Its end date is not as pressing to track, given how the game’s battle passes persist even after their dedicated season ends, but remains nevertheless something to consider if you’re an active player.
Halo Infinite Season 2 release date
Developer 343 Industries has confirmed that it has locked down Halo Infinite’s Season 2 start date to May 3, 2022, while revealing its title – Lone Wolves.
Although the game’s first season lasted for almost six months, that likely won’t be the case with those that follow.
The developer previously stated that its intention is for seasons to last about 3 months. This initially led us to believe that Season 2 would conclude at some point in July.
- Halo Infinite Season 2 start date: May 3, 2022
- Halo Infinite Season 2 end date: November 7, 2022
That, however, proved not to be the case. In an article from April, the developer clarified that Season 2’s end date would occur on November 7, six months after its debut.
The article also contains a roadmap of what we can expect over the coming months. Aside from new rewards to chase, the second season will feature a number of different improvements.
These include shop bundles that offer more consistent value, more customization options in the battle pass’ free track, the ability to earn 1000 CR in the premium battle pass, as well as improved weekly challenges.
The developer has outlined its approach to various other pieces of feedback from the community in this article on the game’s website.
In addition, Landgrab, King of the Hill, and Last Spartan Standing have also been confirmed as new game modes coming in Halo Infinite’s Season 2.
That’s what we know so far about Halo Infinite’s Season 2 start and end dates. We’ll update this article, as soon as new details are shared.
