Hearthstone’s Madness at the Darkmoon Faire expansion is now live. Players can start collecting the 135 new cards, which feature minion forms of Old Gods C’Thun, N’Zoth, Y’Shaarj, and Yogg-Saron, alongside many other additions.
Madness at the Darkmoon Faire, the third expansion in Hearthstone’s Year of the Phoenix, also adds Old Gods Artifacts and the new Corrupt keyword which upgrades the cards in your hand to more powerful versions when a higher cost card is played.
The theme of the new Duels PvP mode’s first season is Wizard Duels, starring heroes from the previous Scholomance Academy expansion.
Hearthstone's Madness at the Darkmoon Faire Expansion Released
Madness at the Darkmoon Faire also introduces the new Rewards Track to Hearthstone, as the CCG’s own take on a Battle Pass system. All players can access the goodies on the free track at no cost.
There’s also a paid track that can be accessed via the Tavern Pass, which costs £16.99 or your regional equivalent.
Purchasing it instantly grants the Golden Silas Darkmoon Legendary minion, an expansion-long XP Boost, alongside all the paid track items unlocked, up to your current level.
The paid track includes such rewards as the Annhylde Alternate Warrior Hero and Card Back, three Jaina Hero Skins, three Thrall Hero Skins, but also one of Hearthstone’s first-ever collectible Cosmetic Coins.
You can read more about the expansion and what it has to offer in our article from earlier this month.
