Hell Let Loose’s update 15 marks the next step on the World War II first-person shooter’s post-launch journey, being set to introduce a new set of changes and additions when its release date comes around.
Aside from new features, it also gives us a clearer sense of the direction in which its new developer plans to take the title, following original dev Black Matter’s exit at the start of the year.
Hell Let Loose Update 15 Release Date
Hell Let Loose Update 15 release date was revealed during June 2023’s PC Gaming Show, through a cinematic trailer. Titled Devotion to Duty, it is slated to go live on July 18, 2023.

Free for all owners of the title, it introduces the brand-new Objective game mode. According to the developer, it tasks players “with taking control of the Brécourt Battery and either protecting or destroying the artillery guns, in a 25v25 game mode.”
Hell Let Loose update 15’s features haven’t been extensively detailed just yet, so it’s unclear whether or not we’ll see any tweaks to the recently increased player movement speed and just-as-recently-introduced ability to dolphin dive.
The two have been met with a mixed reaction from players, some of who feel they are too big a departure from the realistic approach to warfare that helped build the first-person shooter’s community.
More details about the content that’s coming in the second half of July will likely be shared in the lead-up to launch.
With Hell Let Loose’s 15 release date now covered, here is what we know about whether or not the title features cross-platform support.
