If you happen to be a co-op enthusiast, Enshrouded has likely already made it onto your radar. With its early access launch slated for late January 2024, chances are you’re also wondering how many players it supports.
Although Enshrouded also caters to solo players, having others joining in on our adventures can make for a more social experience. It’s also a way to organically discover different approaches to tackling the game’s many obstacles, and an experience most of us will sooner or later want to have. So what is its max player count?
How Many Players Does Enshrouded Support?
When it launches in early access in late January 2024, Enshrouded is officially confirmed to support between 1-16 players.
- Enshrouded max players: 16
Community manager KeenToast took to Reddit to provide additional insight on the matter.
“Just want to add that we’ve designed the game to work great with solo play as that’s a large chunk of players,” they wrote. “Personally I play almost all my internal playtests solo and I’ve had no issues. So adding a few friends works great as well :) The game is designed to be played with 1-16 players and will scale to player count.”
Enshrouded’s maximum player count of 16 has the potential for lots of chaos and cooperation, so it’s certainly great to hear that the title’s challenge will scale to accomodate it and any number of players in between.
