Just Cause 4 is the latest game in a series that has had an odd relationship with multiplayer functionality ever since Just Cause 2 was revitalised through a mod. Accordingly, this article is going to take a look at Just Cause 4 Multiplayer and see if it's even available in the first place.
We've already gone over a number of Just Cause 4 features, such as Chaos Points, DLC items, and Squads functionality, and hopefully this primer helps you in deciding what to do with the latest and greatest of Just Cause.
Just Cause 4 Coop Mode
Just Cause 4 COOP Multiplayer was thrown around ever since Just Cause 4 was announced, and the proposed integrated cooperative multiplayer feature seemed like a logical evolution of the series' previously scrappy take on this sort of gameplay.
Sadly, it would seem that the developers disagreed with this notion, as Just Cause 4 does not include any sort of official multiplayer functionality. What might confuse you is that Just Cause 3 does indeed have an officially-sanctioned Multiplayer mod on Steam, so why is there no such feature announced for its successor?
The answer is simple, if disappointing: perhaps we'll get Just Cause 4 COOP in the future, but at the time of writing there's just no way for us to tell. In the meantime, we wouldn't hold our breath, and suggest that you only get Just Cause 4 if you're content with singleplayer gameplay.
