League of Legends’ Patch 10.12 is now live, a first look at its patch notes revealing its release date, new High Noon skins alongside multiple rune and champion changes.
According to Riot’s own patch schedule, Patch 10.12’s release date was set for Wednesday, June 10, which is when the changes hit the League of Legends live servers.
League of Legends Patch 10.12 Patch Notes
League of Legends’ Patch 10.12 introduces three brand new skins to League of Legends. Players will be able to try out the High Noon Irelia (1350 RP), legendary High Noon Senna (1820 RP) and Hextech Nocturne skins.
In its first days on the PBE, League of Legends’ Patch 10.12 introduced a handful of rune and summoner spell changes, champion balance being added later. Here’s what’s new:
Akali - Buffed
Five Point Strike (Q):
- Damage increased to 30/55/80/105/130 from 25/50/75/100/125
- AP ratio increased to 65% from 60%
Brand - Buffed
Blaze (Passive):
- Mana gain from killing ablaze enemies increased to 20-40 (levels 1-18) from 6-18 (levels 1-18)
Cassiopeia - Nerfed
Stats:
- Base HP decreased to 560 from 575
- Base armour decreased to 18 from 20
- Base MR increased to 34 from 30
Fiddlesticks - Nerfed
Bountiful Harvest (W):
- Minion damage decreased to 50% from 60%
Senna - Buffed
Absolution (Passive):
- Soul generation on kill increased to 8.333% from 2%
Trundle - Nerfed
Stats:
- Base HP decreased to 616 from 616.28
- Mana decreased to 281 from 281.6
- MP5 decreased to 7.5 from 7.508
Frozen Domain (W):
- Bonus movement speed changed to 20/28/36/44/52% from 30/35/40/45/50%
Varus - Nerfed
Stats:
- AD per level decreased to 3 from 3.11
Piercing Arrow (Q):
- Damage ratio changed to 1.0 attack damage (1.5 maximum) from 1.1 attack damage (1.65 maximum)
Viktor - Buffed
Siphon Power (Q):
- Auto attack AP ratio increased to 60% from 55%
- Shield AP ratio increased to 20% from 15%
- Empowered shield AP ratio increased to 32% from 24%
Volibear - Buffed
Stats:
- Mana growth increased to 50 from 40
- Health growth increased to 90 from 85
Thundering Smash (Q):
- Thundering Smash's empowered attack can no longer be interrupted by crowd control once it's been initiated
- Thundering Smash's empowered attack now scales its timing with attack speed
- Volibear's Thundering Smash reset will no longer fail if quickly recasts after being interrupted
Frenzied Maul (W):
- Volibear will now automatically attack his target after canceling his Frenzied Maul and E - Sky Splitter animations
- Volibear will now continue to attack his target even after casting Frenzied Maul on them
- Made larger and better anchored to the target's health bar
Stormbringer (R):
- Turret disable duration increased to 3/4/5 seconds from 2/4/6 seconds
- Epicenter radius increased to 300 from 250
- Base damage increased to 300/500/700 from 250/475/700
- Fixed a bug that caused Volibear to automatically basic attack a target after landing via R - Stormbringer
- Reduced model size slightly
- Turrets disabled with R - Stormbringer are also now much darker to denote their status
Xayah - Buffed
Featherstorm (R):
- Damage increased to 125/250/375 from 100/150/200
Yasuo - Nerfed
Stats:
- Base HP decreased to 490 from 535
Way of the Wanderer (Passive):
- Flow shield activation increased to 115-525 (levels 1-18) from 100-510 (levels 1-18)
Wind Wall (W):
- Cooldown increased to 30/27/24/21/18 from 26/24/22/20/18
Rune Changes:
Approach Velocity (I4):
Stats:
- Movement speed towards allied champions removed
- New: Gain 7.5% bonus movement speed when moving toward a movement-impaired enemy champion. Increased to 15% if you were the one who impaired their movement (There is no longer a maximum range of 1000 for champions that you have CCd)
Guardian (Resolve Keystone)
Stats:
- Tether range increased to 350 from 175
- Trigger condition changed to 90-250 postmitigation damage in the last 2.5 seconds or lethal damage from any damage
- Shield value increased to 80-200 from 70-150
- No longer gives movement speed
Predator (Domination Keystone)
Stats:
- Cooldown decreased to 100-70 seconds from 150-100 seconds
- Damage decreased to 30-90 (+0.2 bonus attack damage) (+0.1 ability power) from 60-180 (+0.4 bonus attack damage) (+0.25 ability power)
- Active is no longer disabled for the first 150 seconds of the game
- Upon completion, Predator now grants 45% bonus movement speed while moving towards enemy champions at a range of 3000, including enemy champions out of vision
- Active is no longer interrupted if you cast an ability or enter combat (still has a 1.5 second ramp up time for damage effect and full movement speed)
- Predator now only deals damage and ends the hunt against enemy champions.
- Duration decreased to 10 seconds from 15 seconds
Taste of Blood
- Taste of Blood's Icon above the player's HUD now appears while it's on cooldown
Unflinching (R4)
Stats:
- Gain 10% slow resist and 10% Tenacity. Gain up to 20% more slow resist and Tenacity based on missing health
Summonner Spell Changes
Ghost
Stats:
- Cooldown increased to 210 from 180
- Ghost's movement speed now activates instantly
- Movement speed decreased to 20 - 40% movespeed, scaling according to Champion’s level from 25 - 45% movespeed, scaling according to Champion’s level
- Ghost's increased movement speed duration now extends by 4-7 seconds (levels 1-18) when you get a takedown
Elemental Terrain
Infernal Terrain
- Added Blast Cones near each tri-bush near Gromp
- Added Blast Cones by the Wolf Camp
- Added Blast Cones in front of each base's gates
- Added Blast Cones in the alcoves
Cloud Terrain
- Added Scryer's Blooms in front of each base's gates
- Added Scryer's Blooms in front of each tri-brush in the river
- Cloud Terrain's Speed Zones now grant 35% movement speed if you are out of combat vs. champions (increased from 20% always)
Bugfixes
- Clash Team names, tags, and logos will now appear on the loading screen and in-game scoreboard during Clash tournaments
- Fixed a bug where loading screen borders weren’t accurate when queues were re-enabled
- Fixed a bug where Kled would lose movement speed faster than intended when he lost vision of enemies
- Hecarim's Q - Rampage tooltip in the Collection tab has been updated to accurately reflect its latest state
- Swain's R - Demonic Ascension/Demonflare tooltip in the Collection tab has been updated to accurately reflect its latest statev
- Cloud Soul's tooltip now accurately reflects its latest state
- Rengar's Passive - Unseen Predator's name and description are no longer missing in Death Recap
- Rift Scuttler now properly plays her run animation and does not slide while Grounded
- Bard's Passive - Traveler's Call's name and description are no longer missing in Death Recap
- Mordekaiser no longer locks out his enemies' Unsealed Spellbook-granted Teleport (and any Summoner Spell that's switched out) for the remainder of the game when he stops their teleporting with R - Realm of Death
- Fiddlesticks' Q - Terrify now properly activates and Fears monsters when he uses W - Bountiful Harvest on them
- When Aurelion Sol casts Q - Starsurge via the mini-map, he will now properly cast the start on the target in the map instead of the terrain directly under the mini-map (most often the right bottom corner)
- Qiyana's Brush-empowered Q - Elemental Wrath now properly leaves a Stealth trail when she casts it after reviving from something like Guardian Angel or Zilean's R - Time Warp
- Kog'Maw's Q - Caustic Spittle in-game tooltip has been updated to correctly reflect its latest state
- Braum's R - Glacial Fissure 's VFX is no longer misaligned when the ability is cast at 0 range
- Sion's Q - Decimating Smash 's tooltip now properly indicates that his total attack damage modifier is increased when cast
- Riven's Q - Broken Wings 's tooltip has been corrected to remove the attack speed gain
- Evelynn's W - Allure now properly functions when cast on Baron Nashor at all ability's levels and from any range
- Rengar's R - Thrill of the Hunt no longer reduces turrets' armor
- Nidalee's Q - Javelin Toss now properly procs her Passive - Prowl when cast on Baron Nashor at any range
- Ornn's Passive - Living Forge no longer fails when the ally receiving the upgraded item dies while the missile effect is mid-air </ul>
