League of Legends Patch 10.13
League of Legends’ Patch 10.13 marks the arrival of Summer with a set of five Pool Party 2020 skins, which make some of the MOBA’s champions ready for the beach or, indeed, a pool. Players will be able to try out the Pool Party Heimerdinger, Jarvan IV, Orianna, Syndra and Taliyah skins, each costing 1350 RP.
The turnaround images, posted by Riot KateyKhaos on Twitter give a better idea of what you can expect from Patch 10.13’s new skins:
Riot’s Beardilocks has provided a list of changes for Pool Party Syndra following PBE feedback, as shown in the tweets below:
Here's where I'm at with the #PoolParty #syndra changes after PBE feedback:
— Riot Beardilocks #BlackLivesMatter (@Beardilocks) June 12, 2020
- Changed ball texture to match splash
- Made dress more see through
- Added sand/shells to Q and E abilities
- Balls now spin while in place. Changed fade out effects
Still to do: E empowered

Following a 2nd round of feedback, I saturated some of the colours more, especially the wave in the E, and finished the E2

Pool Party Taliyah has also seen some changes:
Ok, here are the Taliyah changes:
— Riot Beardilocks #BlackLivesMatter (@Beardilocks) June 17, 2020
- We made sure her character proportions match base
- Added sand to some of her abilities
- Balanced the noise of the passive circle highlight
- Added a rad wave she catches whenever Passive activates.
Still a little more polish, but mostly there pic.twitter.com/QeegcgxDhU
Don’t let the beach balls, umbrellas and sandcastles fool you – champions equipped with League of Legends’ new Pool Party skins are no less lethal.
Developer Riot Games is also testing VFX changes for the Nurse Akali, Kennen M. D., and Surgeon Shen skins, as featured in the SkinSpotlights video just below.
Lead Gameplay Designer Mark Yetter has given a preview of mid-lane changes set to be tested on the Patch 10.13 PBE, however, following feedback, they will no longer be tested before League’s Worlds 2020 event.
Feedback on the Mid lane changes has been extremely useful. Thank you all.

Although it’s not slated for Patch 10.13, a blog post detailing the approach towards the future Mundo rework also went up. While his visuals and theme will get a much-needed update, the rework will keep his regeneration powers and cleaver-throwing abilities “in some form or another”.
The first Dr Mundo dev blog is up. Things are still early, but there are some interesting ideas being explored by the Mundo Teamhttps://t.co/2pAPP1o3EW
