Here’s where we’ll explain everything that’s changing and being added with League of Legends Patch 13.2.
LoL patch 13.2 is now available on the PBE, where it will stay for the next two weeks, giving players an opportunity to test upcoming changes. A look at its patch notes reveals its release date alongside Ahri’s art and sustainability update as well as various other changes.
Riot Games pushes out regular updates for its popular MOBA, and having a patch schedule nearby is necessary to keep track of when the next one’s due out. The LoL patch 13.2 release date is slated for January 25, which is when the changes that make it through testing get pushed to live servers.
League of Legends Patch 13.2
On the PBE, players can try out Ahris’ art and sustainability update, which aims to update the champion’s visuals, bringing them more in line with current standards. In addition, the work put into it should also translate to more fluid development for future skins.
The LoL 13.2 maintenance schedule is always revealed closer to launch. Usually, it takes about 3 hours for patches to be deployed across different regions. Checking our League of Legends server status article is a good way to keep yourself informed on server downtime caused by patch deployment or other reasons.
Lead Designer Matt Leung-Harrison has given us a glimpse at a few things Riot Games is looking at introducing with League of Legends patch 13.2. The situational durability of AD carry champions will be tweaked as will fighters’ haste & sustain, among others.
League 13.2 will give Annie a set of much-needed balance changes meant to “give her buffs in ways that mitigate pain points around spending mana to generate passive, Tibbers lifetime, and E usability,” according to Gameplay Analyst Ray Williams.
A set of item tweaks are also on the way, alongside multiple changes to AD carries.
Jax’s update launched with missing animation details alongside visual and sound effects. These issues will be addressed when League 13.2 goes live.
We now also have our first look at the League of Legends patch 13.2 preview. Buffs for champions like Orianna and Zoe are on the way, as are nerfs for Kindred, Nami, and others.
League 13.2’s release date might be impacted by a social engineering attack that targeted Riot Games’ development environment systems. The developer claims that “there is no indication that player data or personal information was obtained,” but expects the attack to “impact our upcoming patch cadence across multiple games.”
For League of Legends specifically, this will push patch 13.2’s release date to January 26, when a hotfix “that will include a lot of the content” goes live.
The hotfix is labeled 13.1b and still comes with a fair share of item and champion changes.
Ahri’s art and sustainability update alongside a handful of other unnamed features have been moved to patch 13.3, which is slated to go live on February 8.
